Guide button opens big picture /u/FarmerBrown86 Steam on Reddit

I have read every post I can find about this and I have tried everything, I’m using my Xbox one s controller with controller companion to control my computer with just the controller while in bed with the sff hooked to the tv. I cannot for the life of me figure this out I’ve tried everything I can find to solve this and I’m at a loss, I’ve spent about 4-5 hours now reading and trying different things with no solution no matter what when I press the Xbox button it opens big picture, I even skipped all controller input config minus the required A and B buttons but skipped the rest and all big picture settings are off I have been on steam for over 10 years and I’m actually heartbroken that this is how we get treated someone please help. There was even a registry value to add and that did not work… please help this fucking blows
