My wife doesn’t makeout/french kiss nearly as much as she used to. But I don’t feel intimate it without it… /u/Silent-Fill1849 Sex

First 3-4 years of our relationship she always made out with me before sex and it’s a big reason behind why I felt we were sexually compatible. Then it slowly started to die down and it’s really bothering me. We’ve talked about it, discussed hygiene, etc, but still no resolution. She also said that after our first child was born, her sense of smell is much more sensitive and that she needs much more foreplay in order to makeout (sometimes she won’t do it unless we’re having sex). I’m insistent on oral hygiene and she says not the issue

I don’t know if I’m weird for feeling that making out is the primary thing that turns me on and sex doesn’t feel complete sometimes without it. I love it a lot lol. But it makes me think our sexual compatibility is not what I thought it was. Or am I overthinking it?
