Making death saves interesting /u/RideForRuin DnD: Roll for Initiative!

Do you do anything to make Death Saves more interesting?

Recently, I started asking my players to give a happy or wholesome memory every time they get a successful death save, and a scary or depressing memory if they get a failed save. It can be something the characters experienced in game or something from their backstory. I don’t really mind.
