Is physically rejecting someone a real thing? /u/Helpful-Point-9146 Sex

We’ve all heard that phrase, “my body is rejecting this.” And apparently, that applies to intimacy too?

I’ve had a handful of make out sessions and other intimate things, and never once did I feel nauseous. I mean of course I was nervous, I feel like that’s a given; but never to the point of actually feeling physically sick.

But recently? Ive been physically nauseous to the point where I actually had to throw up. And it’s not my partner, because this has happened 3 different times, with 3 different people. Two of them people I’d been with before, and felt completely fine. The first time it happened? I had to go throw up 7 times in the middle of making out… it was so embarrassing.

And I have absolutely no idea where this is coming from or why. I don’t know if it’s a mental thing, or even to reach as far as a spiritual thing. But is this normal?
