Looking to Upgrade from Levis 511s, 33×30 /u/autostclair /r/malefashionadvice

Hi all! I have been a Levi’s 511 only kind of guy for over a decade—the cut just looks better on me than anything else I’ve found and they stay put without a belt in a way no other jean does. However, lately, despite following all of the basic denim care rules—wash cold, dry low, only every 8+ wears—I’m getting holes and thinning way more quickly than I’d like, usually in the upper inner thigh area. On top of that, when I checked most recently, literally every single 511 pant offered had something like 20%+ stretch material.

I was hoping for advice on an upgrade choice with a similar cut and feel, but of higher quality. Ideally I’d want to stay south of $200 USD, as once I’ve tried a pair out and decided I like them, I’d like to replace all of my older jeans with them.

Any advice on brands, and specifically on cuts similar to the 511s, is greatly appreciated!
