Puzzles /u/SweetHomeIceTea DnD: Roll for Initiative!

I’m looking for some good puzzles to include in my home-brew campaign. In previous campaigns, I’ve focused a lot more on combat scenarios, but I would like to add in a few more puzzles to this one and make the players think. I don’t want anything too difficult, and ideally something the players can figure out on their own without any hints (they’re all freshman, sophomores, and juniors in college).

The campaign is set in late Medieval/early Renaissance era, and is basically the matrix. The players are in a simulation, but don’t realize they are in a simulation.
