Leaf Litter should be able to be placed on every block, not just grass. /u/AnnoyingFrickingCrow Minecraft on reddit

I booted up the new snapshot this morning to try and mess around with the new flowers and leaves, only to find that Leaf Litter can only be placed on grass? What was the logic behind this choice? Does Mojang believe that leaves can only land on grass? I guess all of that stuff blocking the gutters of my house was all in my head, because leaves can’t land on my roof!
