Neo-old coming back for Iceborne /u/CeroCell Monster Hunter: World

Hey there! Played this game to the brink, stopped several months before Iceborne release and only NOW I’m starting this dlc.

I have all optionals completed and almost all events done afair.

This “fresh” start will be with lance (played all wold exclusively with CB) so I need to know if there is any sense in farming smth up to make a build for lance to go into iceborne or I better just go there and get equipmemt from dlc? And if so what build would you recommend?

Also, any advices for iceborne are welcome as I remember almost nothing now about the game but have tons of resources, gold etc.

Thanks in advance and good luck in your hunts!
