How come electrical engineering was never oversaturated? /u/ButterBiscuitBravo CSCQ protests reddit

Right now computer science is oversatured with junior devs. Because it has always been called a stable “in-demand” job, and so everyone flocked to it.

Well then how come electrical engineering was never oversaturated? Electricity has been around for……….quite a while? And it has always been known that electrical engineers will always have a high stable source of income as well as global mobility.

Or what about architecture? I remember in school almost every 2nd person wanted to be an architect. I’m willing to bet there are more people interested in architecture than in CS.
