Am I ambidextrous or is there a name for my handedness? /u/inthemix8080 No such thing as stupid questions

I write with my left hand but use my right for a lot of other things that confuses people (and myself).

Left: Writing, shaving, games like corn hole, frisbee, and beer pong, shooting basketball, left leg when playing soccer. Pretty much anything that requires a high degree of precision where an object is relatively light in weight.

Right: Throwing a ball like a baseball, football, or bowling. Regular fighting stance (jab with left), right stance if swinging a golf club or baseball bat. Geared mainly toward strength and distance (except for shooting a soccer ball).

I always assumed ambitextrous meant performing equally with both sides but I switch depending on the situation and I’m not sure if that qualifies or if it’s called something else.
