I received a request to interview for a backend role at Amazon, full rto Seattle. I do not think I’m even remotely prepared and will need a few months at least to study. Will it hurt my chances of interviewing in the future if I decline their request for this specific role? I’m certain I’m going to fail and don’t want to blacklist myself from any future opportunities there.
