How do I make a healer out of my character? /u/K1nd0f0bs3ss3d DnD: Roll for Initiative!

i put this as misc because i dont know what edition my starter set thingy is.

So I have a character who really would NOT work with cleric, but needs to be a healer. I was thinking wizard but stumbled upon something that said wizards don’t have many healing spells. She shouldn’t have much charisma either, so wizard is the best I could find. I don’t know what to do… I want to play this character in my next session, so I’d need to know how to do it!
