I’m an fully-grown man and I’ve had plenty of sex in my life (sounds like the fakest brag ever, lol) but only with one partner, as I was in a long-term relationship with her for 10 years. That relationship recently ended (something I’m dealing with on an emotional level still, but this isn’t the sub for that).
I’ve put myself back out there recently, and had a couple of casual sexual encounters with women over the last few months. In both instances it was kind of a heat of the moment thing, so we didn’t discuss every detail ahead of time, but of course I did use a condom.
When it came time for me to cum/finish, I pulled out and finished outside of her, but still in the condom. The first time, she asked me “where did you cum,” but when I told her it seemed like more of an “oh, ok” reaction and then we resumed making out/aftercare.
The second partner I repeated that with asked me “cum on me” (her stomach/chest based on position), but just due to anxiety or habit or whatever, I still pulled out, but left the condom on and again finished inside of it as opposed to on her. She didn’t make a thing out of it or mention it, but seemed disappointed.
I definitely know better than to take any cues of what’s “normal“ in any sense from porn, and I don’t really have a good baseline for etiquette in casual encounters based on what I did in a long-term relationship where I didn’t need to use protection. So I’m wondering, would it be considered weird to do what I did as opposed to either removing the condom and finishing somewhere else if I’m going to pull out?
Or, if I’m using a condom that’s on properly and hasn’t broken or anything, would it be considered weird to pull out in the first place as opposed to finishing inside (but still inside the condom obviously)?
Just wondering if I was being the weird or paranoid one here, I will admit that given that I’m new to all of this type of sex, I am perhaps a bit overly paranoid about unplanned pregnancy or disease, and I’m trying to account for that by asking around here.
