How is the “DLC for games you own” UI so bad? /u/colinjcole Steam on Reddit

(1) Instead of showing it all in a list, it only allows you to sort by “popular” DLC for your games, DLC for “recently played” games, and DLC for “most played” games. Within these categories, it displays games in a random order.

(2) Even then, within these subcategories, it only shows 3-4 games at a time and you have to click “more” a bunch of times to see the full list of DLC for games you own.

(3) When it does show you DLC, it shows a lot of DLC you already own, and not all of this is correctly marked with “IN LIBRARY” as it should be.

(4) If you click into a DLC on offer to learn more about it and go “back,” it brings you back to the “DLC for games you own” tab with the order of games re-randomized. If you clicked “more” a bunch of times to open up the whole list, it has re-collapsed and progress on the list you were scrolling through is gone. Because the order of games is random, you can’t just “click more” a bunch of times and find your place on the list and resume, because some games you hadn’t seen before will be on the top.

This feature is so close to good and useful. Why can’t just a simple, ordered list of games I own? Sorted either alphabetically, by hours played, or by date purchased?
