I’ve always felt insecure about my body and while well intentioned, my girlfriend constantly talks about my personality or intelligence when I prompt her to talk about the things she finds attractive about me.
Its not a bad thing of course, but I just wish she would comment on my looks, be more vulgar about me in bed and just in general make me feel sexualised. I want to feel sexy and every time I bring it up, she seems insecure and worries about objectifying or disrespecting me. I just don’t fully feel like a sexual being when so little of her comments are about my body. I’ve never felt insecure about my intelligence, so it doesn’t do anything for me when she brings that up, but I don’t understand why she can’t sexualise me.
