I don’t know how to start this I guess answering my own question should be good way to start. I believe filler sessions exist. These are sessions where nothing happens. That means there is no progression in the main plot, personal goals, or character development. I have experienced so many sessions that all we did was rolled dice doing random stuff that didn’t affect any of those points. RP was present *but* it was the type of RP that didn’t build anything between characters nor players. I personally think it’s a bad thing.
But apparently some people think that filler sessions doesn’t exist. I say they are lucky that they never encountered such a session. But the same people also say that my perspective on the subject matter is flawed, therefore I’m just wondering what the hive mind thinks and maybe it will give a better way of seeing things.
