Hi, so I’m playing DnD with a couple other people (we play pretty casually). I’m not the DM, but we have one player who feels like they’re trying to disrupt the game or impact the enjoyment of other players.
They’ve done shit like (most recently) trying (and succeeding) to pour a potentially poisonous potion down my throat, which meant I had to sit around for almost the entire session, unable to play, and then refusing to pay for another potion that would help heal me, when they were the one who caused the damage in the first place.
And this is just one example. They justify it all by claiming to be “chaotic neutral,” despite that alignment not making sense considering their actions. I just feel like their actions negatively impact the party and the element of teamwork in DnD.
Am I just being unfair, or is this player just doing stupid shit and justifying it with an alignment? And any advice? The DM seemed to be on my side but they didn’t do anything.
