About 3 people in my career have said not having a profile picture at work is “extremely unprofessional”. I was curious if people agree with that? /u/Ben5544477 No such thing as stupid questions

I work in a Software/IT/Engineering job.

There’s like 3 people in my career who have told me I’m extremely unprofessional because if you go to my Outlook email there isn’t a picture of me. Like, they basically don’t have respect for me because of my Outlook profile not having my picture.

Over 90% of other people have said nothing regarding this. So like 950 out of 1,000 people have said nothing at all about this would be my best estimate. So, I was just curious to hear other views on it.
