Flexible Work Arrangement Request Tripartite Guidelines /u/Hajiwee9411 Singapore

Background:

Since December 1st all companies in Singapore have to entertain Flexible Work Arrangement Requests from employees. Of course Companies still can deny on terms of operational and business reasons.

Recently my company announced its policy regarding this and I’m super curious on how patronizing other companies have it.

Share what’s your company policy if you have one and let’s see how patronizing it is. I work in a manufacturing firm. My company’s policy applies to all levels of employees so from the top execs to the lowest technician. This is my company’s policy:

Flexi Place

> work from anywhere but only up to 1 day a week.

Flexi Time

> plus minus 1.5hr start and end work time. Normally 8:00 – 17:30. You can choose to start work anytime between 6:30 to 9:30 but you still have to work 9.5hours inclusive of 1hr lunch break everyday. meaning you cannot work less today because you worked more yesterday or work less today and work more tomorrow and also no OT pay.

Flexi load

> Basically just calculate per day pay that’s it. You have to apply in advance as well or absence counts as AWOL.

Also no OT pay at all if any of the above is requested.
