How do some people remember others names after only hearing it once? /u/DoubleChallenge7177 No such thing as stupid questions

I feel like I’ve missed out on whatever class taught me how to remember others names. I have to interact with that person multiple times before I can casually say their name as I’m walking past them. Is it a skill you learn or are some people just better at knowing them?
