FIRST – Complete Siren isle intro quest to unlock the storm event.
– Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren is located in the Forgotten Vault. He is surrounded by 5 Runestones
– Immediately collect the mount after bringing him the 5 runes. (MUST BE IN STORM PHASE)
- Whirling Runekey – Kill Ksvir the Forgotten (He’s in the Forgotten Vault) 100% DROP – EZ
- Turbulent Runekey – collect 3 fragments scattered around the island – EZ /way 38.19, 51.78 /way 67.08, 78.44 /way 52.39, 38.59
- Thunderous Runekey – Collect 5 Thunderous Fragments which drop from the treasure chest around the island.
– After completing the intro quest, your character will emit wind leading to any nearby chest. These had a pretty high drop chance and I easily collected all 5 fragments while farming the rest of the runestones.
- Torrential Runekey – Requires 7 Torrential Fragments that drop from ANY MOB in the storm phase
– Seems the drop chance was nerfed significantly as these fragments took 3-5 hours to farm. We started with the hyper spawn right outside of the Forgotten vault. 1-2 dropped in over an hour. The elites and rare elites seemed to have the best drop chance. The island is smaller than it appears. We ended up just running to the rare elite spawns and killing all the trash/ elites along the way.
- Cyclonic Runekey – Drops from Zek’ul the Shipbreaker (Rare elite spawn)
– THIS IS WHY YOU NEED TO FARM THIS NOW. The drop chance of this rune is quiet rare. It took roughly 60 kills to finally get this drop. Currently, the majority of the community is working together to farm this. Go to the spawn and search “Zek” in custom group finder. Join, kill, leave group and repeat. Love seeing the wow community come together and share their spawns to help everyone else. you can solo/ duo this elite but people are still sharing.
