[OC] I run a D&D club at the high school where I teach – for Christmas this year I painted a mini for each of my players /u/ShaihuludWorm DnD: Roll for Initiative!

Honestly running the club has really re-enthused me for D&D and TTRPGs in general. As someone who’s been playing RPGs since I was a teenager I’d grown quite critical and particular about games, systems etc. Seeing these kids just having a blast rolling dice and embarking on their first adventure has really reminded me of the simple joys of role playing, and it’s been infectious. Plus, getting to play D&D a couple hours a week as part of my job is pretty great.

So, here’s a Christmas present to each of them – a mini of their character! I sourced the minis themselves from Etsy, and then painted them myself. Hopefully they’ll enjoy the gift and no one’s character will die too quickly and need replacing!
