My girlfriend finds Oral “disgusting” /u/Noke300 Sex

So I[23 M] have been with my girlfriend [24 F] for almost 2 years ,everything is generally great,we are in a long distance relationship, so sex is something we get only every now and then ,this means that just the possibility of it overshadowed any issues with it.

Recently I we spent a month together the longest uninterrupted period we ever did ,in this i figure out that my girlfriend is completely against oral ,both giving and taking, in the past I tried but she usually stop me and just when to sex ,from my end I never really asked because I never got a bj and I know she never given one so just pushed the topic forward for when we had time.

So when I eventually confronted her she said that “the idea of it is disgusting”, I on the other hand I’m incredibly interested by it and really like giving (i know from a past relecioncip) I read a few posts on this but it all seems focus on technics instead of just a simple rejection on the process

I’m not sure how to approach this because i have difficulty understanding why she feels that way and she says she can’t quite explain it.

Any advice is appreciated, I love my girlfriend but I can’t but feel disheartened by the possibility of never having these experiences and never giving oral again.

This is yes unfortunate and I hope we can work on this ,but or sex life if very positive, and I’m very happy with it as I know she is, this is something that would improve it for me ,and I wish in turn her as well, if we can find out what the reason for her ‘disgust’ is ,if it’s a simple don’t like it can live with it.
