Koio’s way stiffer and smaller than they used to be? /u/apprximatelycorrect /r/malefashionadvice

I had ordered a Koio Capri in the white color way with the grey suede accent about 5 or 6 years ago. It was one of my favorite shoes for a long long time.

During Black Friday, I just ordered a pair of these as well as an all grey suede colorway. They’re super super stiff and way smaller than my old pair. Has anyone else experienced this? It seems like it can’t be an issue with QC if both pairs are like this. Did they significantly change the shoe? The leather also doesn’t look quite as nice in the new version (it looks less “real” is how I would describe it).

Edit: am I crazy or did the silhouette change as well? They look less sleek somehow.

Edit #2: yes, they’re less sleek. The widest part is about a half cm wider than the old Koios and a full cm wider than CPs.
