Can someone explain the appeal of TENGA disposable toys? Or just disposable toys in general. /u/Pm_boobie_Please Sex

The cheapest TENGA disposable toy is the Egg which is $6.50 (don’t know what currency, probably USD). I skimmed through a quick google search and I’m gonna say that men masturbate about half a month, every month. So every other day is spent masturbating. In about 30 days, you’ve spent $97.50 on Eggs. In a year, you’ll have spent about $1170 on Eggs.

Or you could just a reusable stroker for $50. Or $180 on an automatic stroker. Economically, it makes no sense to buy disposable toys. Maybe you just don’t want to deal with cleanup. Rather just throw it away. Alright, fine. The eggs are made of TPE which near as I can tell aren’t too bad for the environment, apparently they biodegrade. But it’s TEN TIMES cheaper to just buy a fancy shmancy autoblower. Is it really worth spending ten times more money just to not have to deal cleanup.

Additionally, this assumes you buy the cheapest one. There are more expensive options out there. Which just makes my economics point stronger.

Maybe you don’t need a toy EVERY time you jerk it. Maybe just once in a while to shake things up. Alright. Let’s reduce the number of times a toy is used down to an eighth. You now spend ~$150 a year. Which is cheaper than the autostroker but not by much and STILL cheaper than the basic stroker.

I tried looking online for answers but maybe my google-fu isn’t up to par because I couldn’t find something that properly answers my question.

(I hope my inexperience isn’t showing through too much lol. Looking for a toy to buy and I’m just really confused as to why anyone would buy disposable toys.)

Edit: sorry, the prices I looked up for the stroker and autostroker were discounted lol. About 50% off so the real prices are about $100 and $360 respectively. I’m not gonna edit it just in case I miss something and then it looks like I’m contradicting myself. But yeah, my bad.
