Arpscan slow on Darwin /u/Technical_Shelter621 Python Education

Hello pythonistas,

It has been a while that I started to use pyside to build an arp scanner to monitor iot devices directly connected to the lan. I initially started to develop on Ubuntu Linux, but than I thought I would want the tool to support multiple platforms hence I added for now support for Darwin too. Although it runs correctly on both I noticed that on Mac is a lot slower to complete a scan and presente data. So far I am using Qthread (which is part of pyside6) – looking for help to improve performance, any tips would be very welcomed!!!
