How can I be asked to recommend or recommend against(it reads” not recomended, but thumbs down feels more like im recomending against something), to people I don’t even know? In real life I don’t approach people and recommend people stuff unless I know their tastes. That would be egocentrical and projecting my likes on other people. I’m more likely to share how much I enjoyed myself playing something – and it’s not binary, it’s more along “screw this game”, “meh played it cause had nothing better to play”, “love this game”. And that’s kind of info I would like to see when browsing reviews – to see how much people enjoyed themselves.
Let’s say we have game A that currently would have 300 recomendations and 50 “not recomendations. You would think that it’s a rather good game. But If game A had rather 300 “love it” 1500 “meh” and 50 “didn’t enjoy myself at all” that tells a whole different story.
I would have better image with other system as a consumer.
