My partner and I have been together for 6 years and have a 1yo together. We’ve never really had period sex because I was always super irregular, but i get normal monthlies now since having my LO.
I just started mine and my partner says he still wants to have sex, he just wants to wear a condom. My thing is, we don’t use condoms and never have. And he’s had period sex with others before. Hearing he wants to wear a condom instantly turned me off from wanting to have sex with him right now. In a sense, almost like I’m offended he wants to wear one lol.
Maybe it’s just all the Reddit stories I’ve read about a lot of men not using condoms during it and not caring so my mind is tainted but I don’t want to have sex anymore. Has anybody else experienced this or what are your thoughts? Or am I just being super hormonal about it? Lol
Edited to add: he’s never said his previous experience was bad at all, just that “a period don’t stop nothing” and “he’s earned his redwings” lol
