My GF (F27) went back to her hometown on the east coast for two weeks. She came back and ran up and gave me a huge kiss. When I pulled away I saw she had a giant cold sore on her lip. I immediately said “what are you doing!! That’s a cold sore!”. She got defensive and said oh it’s not big deal I’ve been stressed. I said she should have told me… I then asked if she had any pills or cream. She said no. A few days later I see a box of anti viral medication for herpes in her bathroom… It had been there a long time. So she’s lying. Am I overreacting? What would be the reason to lie? I know that cold sores don’t necessarily mean cheating… Need some perspective here.
