Am I going to get an infection? Will my period “clean” it out? /u/NoStatistician820 Sex

Tried anal for the first time with my longterm fwb. We went from vaginal to anal and eventually back to vaginal, without condom. I didn’t eat for about 5 hours before sex, and went to the toilet about an hour or 2 before so there was no poop in my bum. But I saw online apparently it’s pretty bad to go from anal to vaginal because there is a pretty high risk of contracting something either STI or from poop bacteria. I woke up with my period this morning so im wondering if maybe that will help clean anything out?? Or is that literally not how it works. How worried should I be, should I wait until symptoms or go get tested for something ASAP?? If you go from anal to vaginal sex is it 100% risk of catching something?? I’m sorry if these questions seem stupid, I honestly dont know how it works so I don’t even know if I should be panicking or not.
