He was born in a prison, middle child of eight, raised by his mother after their father abandoned them. He had a poor upbringing in a small rundown shack on the outskirts of a desert and became deaf after an illness at the age of three. One of his aunts eventually took him to sea and he discovered that the spirits roamed more than just the night-time dunes. (27yrs old)
