Hello everyone!
I’m a 29F from Greece and I have 5 years of experience working with PHP as a backend developer (internship excluded)!
I want to find a new job, using Python, C# or Golang that I’m currently learning.
Q1: I’ll start applying to remote jobs across Europe, but I’m not sure how to call my degree is in English, so I can put it in my cv. My degree title is “COMPUTER AND INFORMATICS ENGINEERING ΤΕ”, the school is “SCHOOL OF SCIENCES”, the department is “DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATICS” and the degree’s level is “UNDERGRADUATE”.
Q2: Since I want to change programming language, I’m willing to get into a company in a Junior level, but I need at least 25.000€ per year minimum, which I don’t know if it is possible.
Q3: How can I be a more appealing candidate? Should I get some certificates? Should I make projects to fill my GitHub? If yes, please give me some ideas please!
Notes: I currently have one child under 2, and we are trying for a second child, so I’ll have 6 months fully paid leave to study and do whatever I need to become the perfect candidate! I want to leave my company because they don’t give me options to grow and learn, and they are not paying well.
