I’m 35 and she’s 32 and we have been together for 4 years. I don’t know if this is a normal thing to do. But I tend to put my girlfriend on a pedestal when compared to other women are people in general. I feel like this makes our relationship more special and romantic. If I tell myself I have the best woman in the world I have no desire for any other women. However by doing this I worry that I could be hurt emotionally if she ever breaks up with me. I think she does the same with me. In fact I believe I’ve heard of other people doing this
