I was looking at the Todd Snyder end-of-season sale, and they have an off-white fine-wale corduroy shirt with French cuffs and buttons hidden behind a placket. They call it a tuxedo shirt, but I doubt I would ever wear it with a tuxedo.
I think it’s a cool shirt, but, also, the mix of informal elements and formal elements is weird, and I’m not sure if it would be interesting or just offputting.
