I really like the styling of the Danish raincoats, particularly:
– Stutterheim Stockholm
– Stutterheim Stockholm Lightweight
– Rains Classic Jacket
– Rains Cargo Long Jacket
These raincoats, however, are known for being non-breathable. Rains is cheaper and made of polyester, with some user reviews saying it’s like wearing a tarp. Perplexity says that Stutterheim Stockholm is meant for 2-10 degrees Celsius weather, and Stutterheim Stockholm Lightweight is meant for 10 -18 degrees Celsius weather.
How wearable are these raincoats, especially with formal or semi-formal clothes, outside Scandinavia? Are they wearable in 20 – 25 degrees Celsius weather, like further south? Would they be impossible to wear in summer and closer to the tropics?
Are there any equivalents for stylish city wear of the above raincoats for warmer places?
