how to career change without going too much back? (even tho im not that far enough and close to the starting point) /u/mosenco CSCQ protests reddit

Everybody started with their first lowest paid job ever and then slowly climbing up if you are skilled enough or stayed pretty the same

I joined a startup for 3 years doing b2b solutions on serious game for other companies. we tried to find clients and then work on agile settings delivering games into production

I left the startup and focused on my master. what happened during my master? the major layoffs, many people witohut job, any application with so many applicants that HRs dont need to search for people anymore. the situation became the opposite! i usually get harassed by HR even if i refuse and now they all disappared!

All the jobs are so tailored and requires so many tech stacks and experience even for a junior. over 300 applications, only 4 interview since october im starting to lowering my expecting salary that right now im reaching the lowest paid job ever, an internship.

I wanna ask you. How do you change your career path into a field you have no idea how does it work? like u have 10 years of frontend but then you want to work on embedded systems. Would you start as a intern or something like that again or how? I don’t want to be paid 400 each months again.. im tired boss.

Because my target would be backend, ML and gaming, and they are pretty close, my idea would be continuing my game dev career and inside the company transition into backend or something like this..
