how do I set up a network drive to be my steam library? /u/ForgottenFrenchFry Steam on Reddit

so I have two computers. one of them is connected to a hard drive.

I set up so I can access the hard drive on both computers over the network. I already tested it by moving files around and such.

when I try to add it to my steam Library, it doesn’t show up under Network.

I can access the drive/file since I have it pinned via quick access, but I can’t set the drive itself, only folders inside the drive.

any idea how to fix this?
