Refunding a game before getting the bundle /u/DisciplineNo9263 Steam on Reddit

So I bought FF7 Rebirth last night, didn’t touch the game, didn’t even download it. A friend of mine got me the Twin Pack (Remake Intergrade + Rebirth) today, so I requested a refund for the copy of Rebirth I purchased yesterday. I claim the key for the Twin Pack, and now i have both Rebirth and Remake Intergrade in my library.

The refund request hasn’t been processed yet (i did it like 5 mins ago), but when it does, I’m wondering if Steam would remove the copy of Rebirth that came in the bundle? I’ve never refunded a game before, but I assume they remove games when you refund them. Should I have waited for the refund before claiming the Twin Pack key?
