Artificer – now I’m confused /u/FinnBakker DnD: Roll for Initiative!

so I’ve built a L6 artificer using 2014-onwards rules, and I’ve hit a wall. I didn’t use Beyond to make them, did it all by scratch, but the group I’m joining asked me to add the character on Beyond. OK, so I did that, but now I’m getting to the spells and I thought I had to learn the spells, a la a wizard, but the Beyond page just lists all the 1st level spells to be prepared. I know the artificer has to prepare a daily list like a cleric, but I thought was derived from the spells you’ve *learnt*. eg you have the spells you know, and then you decide which ones you want to be able to cast that day

or have I done this all wrong, and ALL the L1/2 spells are up for me to choose from each day?

(I’m more annoyed I sat and custom made little cards for all the spells I thought I had “learnt”, when I could have just printed them and left them as sheets rather than spending an hour cutting them up, pasting them onto cards, laminating, then recutting).
