I initially applied to position A and after 5 rounds, they rejected me stating they’re looking for someone with more yoe. But the hiring manager for position A said I would be better suited for position B at the company.
The recruiter said he vouched for me to the recruiter for position B and said that the recruiter for position B really liked my resume and experience. He mentioned that he’s working on getting me some more details as they “form their location strategy” and essentially told me to be patient and he will reach out.
I wanted to know how valid this is and whether I should continue to hold onto the hope or move on? TIA!
