PS, XBOX, or PC? /u/Technical-Mode-4329 Red Dead Redemption

Hello, I know I’m ~7 years late to the party, but I really want to get RDR2.

I’m going to college this year, I can finally get the game, and I want to know what’s the “best” platform to play it on. Google says Xbox is better, but I’d like to get popular opinion too.

Are there any advantages and to a specific platform? Is any gameplay easier or harder? Is it just down to personal preference / factors unrelated to this subreddit?

I’m already planning on getting a higher-end laptop because my (planned) major is graphic-intensive and apple doesn’t cut it for 3D renders. But I’m not sure a laptop can multitask gaming and school (from a storage standpoint).
