I am 32 and a realtor for a living.
I have $1,000 as a budget to redo my closet. I don’t really know what to wear on the daily and feel out of place. I can definitely tell when I put together a decent f i t for the day but know I could do better. I am all over during the day and drive a lot. I go into attorney offices, coffee shops, show houses as well as here and there raw land.
I’ve tried wearing suits with or without a tie and feel out of place. I would like to dress better. Ideally I have seen one style I loved. A guy walked in he had black worn leather ankle boots. His pants were like chino pants but tailored to his ankle almost (he was tall and slim I’m 5”8 and 212lb) he wore a black crew neck and another time an untucked button down. This seemed to be classy but simple and I thought it was super cool. Specially the darker color combination that I’m a fan of.
This is my normal go to Cooler weather: iron ranger boots, lucky brand jeans, button down shirt or t shirt under a jacket.
Summer time: Columbia fishing shirt, above the knee shorts and low profile hiking shoes.
What I own: t shirts, iron ranger boots, new balance 574 and button down shirts, banana republic slim travel jeans and a carhartt chore coat.
