Looking for ideas for a secret entrance. The catch? It’s in a popular tourist attraction. /u/House923 DnD: Roll for Initiative!

Hello everyone! I’m hoping to get some inspiration from you lovely people.

At my next session, the players are going to be visiting some ruins. The thing is, they’re quite popular. It isn’t some hidden, far off location. They’re marked on maps, people visit them, think of it like visiting Chichen Itza or something.

I would like there to be a secret, and so far undiscovered, door / entrance / passage in the ruins that takes the players to an actual dungeon.

Issue is, I’m struggling to think of a puzzle or situation that would be unique enough that it wouldn’t have been discovered by in-world tourists, but easy enough that real life players will be able to figure out.

I’m honestly not sure if it’s even possible, but you’re my last hope! Any tips or ideas will definitely help spark my creativity enough that I might be able to figure something out.
