My Current Situation: I graduated last year from a tier-3 college, and unfortunately, I don’t have any job experience yet. For the past year, I was preparing for an MSCS in the USA, believing that it would be the best route for my career. However, in December, I came to a hard realization: without any work experience or proper internships, I stand very little chance of getting a job in the US. The reality is, pursuing an MSCS would likely be a waste of my parents’ money, and it’s clear I need to reconsider my options.
The Regret: Now, I find myself in a tough spot. It’s been 8 months since I graduated, and I still haven’t secured a job. Whenever I try to study or focus on my goals, I can’t help but think about the time I’ve lost. I regret not working hard during college, especially when I see so many students doing internships in 2nd and 3rd year. This sense of regret weighs heavily on me, and I often feel like I’m running out of time. Currently, I lack portfolio level projects, have basic skills, do not have dsa knowledge, no network connections, no internships & work experience.
The Future Path: Is it too late to turn things around, I am willing to put in the had work.
