I (20F) am very awkward when it comes to sex. Talking about it with my boyfriend (23M) through text is fine but I still catch myself getting so nervous about talking about it but realise that I can freak out and then text him when I’m done freaking out. In person it’s the worst because I can’t freak out there and then. I get so awkward and I can’t really say what I want. He isn’t the best either at saying what he wants in detail when we’re in person even though he isn’t far more experienced than I am. He’s my first. I expect him to speak his mind and be genuine in what he wants and also speak me through things in person but it seems like he’s a bit nervous to do that with me as well? He’s had three other women he’s been in a relationship with and idk how their sex lives were like with him but mine is a bit awkward. How can I get him to be more open to sharing because I always ask him if I’m doing things right or not and he says I’m doing it perfectly but then when we text and talk about it I ask if I’m truly doing things perfectly and then he tells me how I should do it instead. It’s a bit frustrating because it’s like idk what I’m doing and you’re not helping me in the moment.
