This is probably a stupid question but I got a rejection email yesterday that says this verbatim:
“We have decided to move ahead with other candidates who we feel are a better match for this opening at this time. We sincerely apologize that due to the volume of our applications we can’t provide individualized feedback at this time.”
I’ve heard it could look good if I ask for advice/feedback anyway, like a “I’m just thAt dedicated to improvement” or “just tHAt interested in the company” impression. However, because it’s explicit, I’m leaning towards following their directions
