How can you tell what games you can play offline? /u/Resident-Art-1083 Steam on Reddit

I’ve recently been away from the internet alot and wanted to play some games when I’m bored. I thought every single player game would be playable offline however rdr2 doesn’t seem to work when I load it up offline. Is there a way for me to tell if I can play a game offline before buying it or downloading it?
