I graduated a while ago with a degree in CSE and was unable to find a job due to (mostly) my own bad decisions and market conditions. Ever since, I’m preparing at home for coding interviews, certifications, making projects etc, with many of my friends moving out of my city for jobs, going abroad, being busy.
How do people in the same boat keep their sanity intact, studying at home all day, every day for 4-6 months ? I do talk to my old friends on the phone & make sure to step out everyday, but at the end of the day I’m at stuck at home and this is getting to me.
Usually I don’t feel like doing any work, but I spend 20 minutes with my college buddy and lo and behold: I feel motivated again. And then I go back to home and feel crappy again.
I know of a famous youtuber who had a history degree, prepared for 1 year, and got a job. How do people stay sane during such long periods?
tl;dr no job, losing sanity due to being stuck at home prepping for coding interviews
