Hey everyone!
Currently, I’m playing a Monk Teifling.
His backstory isn’t very well fleshed out, but what I have so far is that he was a human that was a victim of a dark magic spell that is slowly turning him into a Teifling. And I’m having some trouble coming up with ways that impacts his character, me and my dm agreed that he should have some extra abilities that come from being a Teifling, but I can’t figure out what those should be and how I should manage them.
My original idea was using his Ki points as a ‘meter’ kind of, having him use too many Ki points would make his progression worse. But my DM shot that idea down.
What my DM suggested, was that I pick two or three ‘Teifling spells’ or dark magic spells that he uses, and when he uses them he gets knocked out for a few turns. The only thing I don’t like about that, is that we have 8 players, if I were to wait four turns before I could do anything again, depending on the battle I could be waiting two or three hours.
Could anyone give me some examples of spells that my character could use? And if anyone has any better ideas on how we could manage him USING that magic that would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
