Why do you itch so badly after shaving or waxing your privates but not your legs or belly? /u/PaintingByInsects No such thing as stupid questions

My privates are itching so badly every single time I shave or wax myself, and I’m literally scratching so bad it looks like I’m jerking off or something (like of course not literally cuz of placement but still)

But whenever I wax or shave my legs, or belly, or anywhere else, it doesn’t really itch? Is the skin on your privates different? Am I cutting closer to the skin with my privates?
